Welcome to the website operated under the trading name 8ight Optix Vision.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Website and your purchase of products and services from us.
Our business address is:
144 Upper Bukit Timah Road
#03-K18/K19 Beauty World Centre
Singapore 588177
You may contact us at:
Telephone/WhatsApp: +65 8100 1946
Email: Info@lensmeta.com
By accessing the Website, creating an account, submitting an order or purchasing any product or service from us, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a contract to place an order through the Website.
Where an order is placed by a person below 18 years old, the order must be made with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
By submitting an order, you represent that:
- the information provided by you is complete and accurate;
- you are authorised to use the selected payment method; and
- you are legally capable of entering into the transaction.
2. Products and Services
We sell products and services that may include:
- spectacle frames;
- sunglasses;
- prescription and non-prescription lenses;
- lens coatings and lens enhancements;
- progressive and single-vision lenses;
- Lenovo-branded frames or products;
- smart-glasses devices and related components;
- temples, accessories and replacement components; and
- optical fitting, adjustment and related after-sales services.
Products may differ slightly from photographs displayed on the Website due to lighting, screen settings, manufacturing variations and product updates.
Colours, measurements, weights, specifications and images are provided for general reference. You should review the full product description and contact us before ordering if a particular specification is important to you.
3. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Adding a product to your cart does not reserve the product. We may reject or cancel an order where:
- the product is unavailable or discontinued;
- the selected lens, frame, device or component cannot be supplied;
- the prescription information is incomplete, invalid or unsuitable;
- the product was listed with an incorrect price or description;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity;
- delivery cannot be completed to the supplied address; or
- the order breaches these Terms or applicable law.
If we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item through the original payment method, subject to the processing time of the relevant bank or payment provider.
4. Orders and Contract Formation
Your submission of an order is an offer to purchase the selected products.
An automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
A binding contract is formed only when we:
- expressly accept your order;
- begin preparing or customising your order; or
- dispatch the product,
whichever occurs first.
We may contact you to verify your identity, prescription, measurements, delivery information or payment details before accepting or processing an order.
Each accepted order constitutes a separate contract between you and us.
5. Product Customisation
Certain products are made, cut, fitted, configured or customised specifically for you. These may include:
- prescription lenses;
- lenses cut to fit a selected frame;
- lenses with customised coatings or tints;
- progressive, occupational or specialised lenses;
- products made according to measurements supplied by you;
- smart-glasses configurations assembled according to your selection; and
- engraved, adjusted or otherwise personalised products.
Customised products may not be changed, cancelled, returned or exchanged once production or customisation has started, except where the product is defective, incorrectly supplied or otherwise required by applicable law.
6. Prescription Information
Where prescription lenses are ordered, you must provide complete, accurate and current prescription information.
The required information may include:
- sphere power;
- cylinder power;
- axis;
- addition power;
- pupillary distance;
- fitting height;
- prism measurements;
- lens type;
- frame measurements; and
- any other information reasonably required to produce the lenses.
We may request a copy of a valid prescription issued by a qualified optometrist or other authorised eye-care professional.
Unless otherwise agreed, prescriptions should generally have been issued within the previous 12 months.
You are responsible for checking that the prescription and measurements submitted are correct. We are not responsible for discomfort, reduced visual performance or remake costs caused by inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information supplied by you or on your behalf.
This does not affect your rights where an error was made by us or where the product does not conform to the accepted order.
We may decline to fulfil a prescription where we reasonably believe:
- the prescription is incomplete or unclear;
- the prescription is outside the range we can safely supply;
- additional measurements or professional assessment are required; or
- fulfilling the prescription may not be appropriate without an in-person eye examination.
Purchasing prescription eyewear online is not a substitute for regular eye examinations.
7. Lens Adaptation
Some customers require an adaptation period when using new prescription, progressive, occupational, tinted or specialised lenses.
You should stop using the eyewear and contact us promptly if you experience continued discomfort, headaches, dizziness, distorted vision or difficulty adapting.
Any complimentary prescription remake or adaptation guarantee offered by us will be subject to:
- the guarantee period stated on the Website, invoice or warranty document;
- a reassessment by us or a qualified eye-care professional;
- confirmation that the lenses have been used and cared for appropriately;
- the original frame remaining suitable for reuse; and
- the replacement being limited to one remake unless otherwise stated.
A remake guarantee does not cover errors in a prescription supplied directly by the customer or by an external eye-care professional, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.
8. Smart Glasses and Electronic Products
Smart glasses, electronic devices and related accessories may require:
- a compatible smartphone, computer or operating system;
- internet connectivity;
- third-party applications;
- account registration;
- software updates;
- Bluetooth or other wireless connectivity; and
- acceptance of third-party terms and privacy policies.
You are responsible for confirming compatibility before purchasing.
Features, applications and online services may be supplied or controlled by Lenovo or other third parties. Their availability may change, be interrupted or be discontinued without our control.
We do not guarantee that every third-party application, online service or device feature will remain available for the entire life of the product.
Software, firmware and online services may be governed by separate terms issued by the relevant manufacturer, developer or service provider.
Smart glasses should be used responsibly and according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not use a device in a way that obstructs your vision, distracts you while driving, or creates a safety risk.
9. Prices
Unless otherwise stated:
- all prices displayed on the Website are in Singapore Dollars;
- prices include applicable Goods and Services Tax where required;
- delivery charges, installation fees or other applicable charges will be shown before checkout; and
- promotional prices are available only during the specified promotion period.
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices and product information are accurate. However, errors may occur.
Where an obvious pricing or product-description error is identified, we may:
- contact you and request confirmation at the correct price;
- offer a suitable alternative; or
- cancel the affected order and issue a refund.
We are not required to honour a price that is clearly incorrect and could reasonably have been recognised as an error.
10. Payment
Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order is processed.
By submitting payment details, you confirm that:
- you are authorised to use the payment method;
- the billing information is accurate; and
- sufficient funds or credit are available.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not directly control their systems, processing time, security checks or approval decisions.
Your bank or payment provider may charge additional fees, including foreign exchange, administrative or instalment fees. Such charges are your responsibility.
11. Promotional Codes and Discounts
Promotional codes, vouchers, free gifts and discounts:
- must be used before their stated expiry date;
- are subject to their specific promotional conditions;
- cannot be exchanged for cash;
- cannot be applied retrospectively;
- may be limited to one use per customer or order;
- may not be combined unless expressly stated;
- may exclude selected brands, lenses, devices or services; and
- may be withdrawn or modified where permitted by law.
Where an order is returned, any free gift supplied with that order must also be returned in its original condition. Otherwise, its normal selling price may be deducted from the refund where legally permitted.
12. Delivery
We currently deliver to addresses within Singapore unless otherwise stated on the Website.
Estimated delivery periods are provided as a guide and are not guaranteed. Delivery may be affected by:
- product availability;
- lens-production requirements;
- prescription verification;
- quality-control checks;
- public holidays;
- courier delays;
- incorrect delivery information; or
- events outside our reasonable control.
An order containing multiple items may be delivered in separate shipments.
You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.
Where you instruct a courier to leave an order unattended, the risk of theft, loss or damage passes to you once the order is left at the location you specified.
Please inspect your order promptly after delivery.
13. Failed Delivery and Uncollected Orders
Where delivery cannot be completed because:
- no authorised recipient is available;
- the address is incorrect;
- access to the premises is unavailable;
- the customer refuses delivery; or
- the customer fails to respond to delivery arrangements,
you may be required to pay reasonable redelivery or administrative charges.
Orders selected for collection must be collected within the period communicated to you.
Where a customised order remains uncollected for an extended period despite reasonable attempts to contact you, we may deal with the order in accordance with applicable law. Deposits or payments already applied to customised work may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
14. Seven-Day Change-of-Mind Returns
Subject to the exclusions below, you may request a change-of-mind return for an eligible, non-customised product within seven calendar days from the date you receive or collect it.
To qualify, the product must:
- be unused and unworn, except for reasonable inspection;
- be in resalable condition;
- include all original packaging, accessories, manuals and promotional items;
- have all labels and protective materials intact;
- not have been altered, adjusted or customised; and
- be accompanied by valid proof of purchase.
You must contact us before returning an item. Returns sent without prior authorisation may be rejected.
Unless the product is defective or incorrectly supplied, you are responsible for return-delivery costs and the risk of loss or damage during return delivery.
15. Products Excluded From Change-of-Mind Returns
The following products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns or exchanges:
- prescription lenses;
- lenses that have been cut or fitted into a frame;
- customised, personalised or made-to-order products;
- products adjusted, engraved or modified at your request;
- opened contact-lens or hygiene-sensitive products;
- opened consumable products;
- clearance or final-sale items clearly marked as non-returnable;
- gift cards or vouchers;
- products damaged after delivery;
- products showing wear, scratches, stains or improper handling;
- missing products or products returned without required components; and
- software, digital services or activated electronic products where the activation prevents resale.
These exclusions do not apply where a product is defective, incorrectly supplied or where applicable law provides otherwise.
16. Incorrect, Damaged or Defective Products
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible.
If a product is delivered damaged, defective or different from the accepted order, contact us promptly and provide:
- your name;
- order number;
- description of the issue;
- photographs or videos showing the issue; and
- any other information reasonably required to assess the claim.
We may require the product to be returned for inspection before providing a remedy.
Where the product is confirmed to be defective or incorrectly supplied, we may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:
- repair;
- replacement;
- correction or remake;
- price reduction;
- store credit, where accepted by you; or
- refund.
The appropriate remedy will depend on the circumstances and applicable Singapore law.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights relating to goods that do not conform to the contract.
17. Refunds
Approved refunds will generally be made through the original payment method.
Original delivery charges and return-delivery costs are not refundable for change-of-mind returns unless otherwise stated.
Refund processing time may vary according to the payment provider. After we issue the refund, additional processing time may be required before the amount appears in your account.
Where a returned product is incomplete, altered or damaged beyond reasonable inspection, we may reduce the refund to reflect the resulting loss in value, where permitted by law.
18. Exchanges
Eligible exchanges are subject to product availability.
Where the original product is unavailable, we may offer:
- a similar product;
- another product of equivalent value;
- payment of the price difference for a higher-value product;
- store credit, where accepted by you; or
- a refund where appropriate.
Unless the product is defective or incorrectly supplied, each product is generally eligible for only one exchange.
Customised prescription products cannot be exchanged merely because you change your mind about the selected frame, colour, lens type, coating or prescription information after production has started.
19. One-Year Limited Warranty
Unless a different warranty period is stated on the product page, invoice, warranty card or manufacturer’s documentation, eligible products are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for up to one year from the date of delivery or collection.
Warranty coverage may include:
- manufacturing defects in frames;
- manufacturing defects in electronic components;
- lens-coating defects attributable to manufacturing;
- tinting defects attributable to manufacturing; and
- other defects expressly covered by the manufacturer or our written warranty.
A warranty claim must be supported by valid proof of purchase.
We may inspect the product or arrange for assessment by the manufacturer, distributor or authorised service provider.
Depending on the product and assessment, the remedy may be repair, replacement, replacement with a comparable item, or another remedy required by law.
20. Warranty Exclusions
Unless otherwise required by law, the limited warranty does not cover:
- ordinary wear and tear;
- scratches caused after delivery;
- accidental damage;
- impact, crushing or collision damage;
- exposure to excessive heat, moisture, chemicals or unsuitable cleaning products;
- damage caused by improper storage or handling;
- loss or theft;
- misuse, neglect or failure to follow instructions;
- unauthorised repair, alteration or disassembly;
- cosmetic changes that do not affect normal function;
- damage caused by incompatible accessories, applications or devices;
- battery degradation resulting from normal use;
- prescription errors supplied by the customer or an external provider;
- discomfort caused solely by a customer’s change of mind;
- damage resulting from an unsuitable or altered frame;
- consumable parts; or
- defects previously disclosed and accepted before purchase.
The warranty does not replace or limit any rights available under applicable Singapore consumer law.
21. After-Sales Services
Depending on the product and availability of parts, we may provide after-sales assistance such as:
- frame fitting and adjustment;
- tightening or replacement of screws;
- replacement of nose pads;
- basic cleaning;
- prescription reassessment;
- lens-adaptation assistance;
- product setup guidance; and
- referral to a manufacturer or authorised service provider.
Complimentary services are subject to reasonable use, product condition and parts availability.
Charges may apply for repairs, parts or services that are not covered by warranty.
22. Product Care
You must follow the care instructions supplied with the product.
Eyewear should generally be:
- stored in a protective case;
- cleaned using suitable lens-cleaning materials;
- kept away from excessive heat and harsh chemicals;
- handled using both hands when appropriate; and
- inspected after significant impact or damage.
Electronic devices must be charged, stored and used according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Failure to care for a product properly may affect warranty eligibility.
23. Accounts
You may be required to create an account to access certain Website functions.
You are responsible for:
- keeping your account details accurate;
- maintaining the confidentiality of your password;
- restricting access to your device and account; and

You must not share, transfer, sell or misuse your account.
We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe that it:
- has been used fraudulently;

- has been used to interfere with the Website; or
- creates a security or legal risk.
24. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- use the Website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;

- submit false information or fraudulent orders;
- resell products in breach of promotional or purchase restrictions; or
- misuse reviews, promotional codes or loyalty benefits.

The Website may contain links to websites, payment providers, social-media platforms, mapping services, applications and services operated by third parties.
We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their:
- content;

- terms and conditions.
Your use of a third-party service is governed by the terms issued by that third party.
28. Privacy and Cookies
We collect, use, disclose and protect personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Singapore data-protection law.
By using the Website, you acknowledge that information may be processed for purposes including:
- account administration;
- order processing;

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in our Cookie Policy or Privacy Policy.
29. Disclaimer
Product information and general optical information on the Website are provided for general guidance.
They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical or eye condition and are not a substitute for professional medical or optometric advice.
You should consult a qualified eye-care or healthcare professional where appropriate.
Statements about visual comfort, blue-light filtration, sleep support, glare reduction, driving comfort or other potential benefits may vary according to the user, environment and product configuration. Individual results are not guaranteed.
30. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website or products where such loss was not reasonably foreseeable.
We are not responsible for loss caused by:
- inaccurate information supplied by you;
- misuse of a product;
- failure to follow safety or care instructions;
- incompatible third-party devices or software;
- third-party service interruption;
- unauthorised product modification;
- events outside our reasonable control; or
- use of a product for a purpose for which it was not designed.
For purchases made primarily for business purposes, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from an order will not exceed the amount paid for the affected product.
This section does not limit rights available to consumers under applicable Singapore law.
31. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- natural disasters;
- fires or floods;
- epidemics or public-health restrictions;
- war or civil disturbance;
- transport disruption;
- labour disputes;
- telecommunications or internet failure;
- power outages;
- governmental action;

We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of such events and resume performance when reasonably possible.

Please include your order number, contact details and a clear description of the issue.
We will make reasonable efforts to review and respond to complaints promptly.
33. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to:
- our business operations;
- Website functions;
- products or services;
- payment and delivery arrangements; or
- legal and regulatory requirements.
The latest version will be published on the Website with an updated revision date.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen under an accepted order.
34. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision will be modified or removed only to the extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
35. No Waiver
Our failure or delay in enforcing any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it later.
36. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the applicable:
- product description;
- order confirmation;
- Privacy Policy;
- Refund Policy;
- Delivery Policy;
- warranty conditions; and
- promotional conditions,
form the entire agreement relating to your use of the Website and purchase.
Where there is a conflict, specific written terms relating to a product, warranty or promotion will apply to that matter.
37. Assignment
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under an order without our written consent.
We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a genuine business restructuring, sale or transfer, provided that this does not reduce your statutory rights.
38. Third-Party Rights
A person who is not a party to these Terms has no right to enforce any provision of these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 of Singapore, except where expressly stated.
39. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
